Eye Makeup: Natural or Waterline eyeliner?

Okay so I am trying to find my daily makeup look, and I'm torn between having a more natural look or using more makeup. No matter what, I always use mascara on the top and bottom of my eyes, and I always line the top of my eye with a thin line. This is where I'm having trouble. I can't decide if I like my eyes with no eyeliner on bottom or if I should line my waterline. I like the waterline look A LOT (think: Mirranda Kerr), but 9/10 people at my school go really natural, and I feel like I wear too much makeup when I'm around them. What should I do?
