Is England really so bad?

Lots of my friends and colleagues are moving to former commonwealth countries, NZ, Australia, America, etc. The news is full of doom and gloom about how Britain is broken and will only get worse. Thing is, I have lived abroad before, and I came back. Not because I disliked my new continent, but rather because I missed the UK. I adore this country and love living here....despite all it's social ills. So, am I the only one? Is there anyone else that would CHOOSE to live in England?
