Do people feel sorry for Adele and thats why 21 is selling? be honest?

I mean shes not the prettiest so is that why people are buying 21 to defy the myth that only beautiful people sell albums. I mean she is nothing special. The only songs on her new album i like are rolling in the deep, set fire to the rain and rumor has it. Nothing special and people call her the best thing since bread. I prefer Lady Gaga. Her songs are mainstream-y yes but they have meaning and there different and catchy and not boring and dull like the majority of Adeles songs. And can you honestly say Adele is better then Lady Gaga?
