Growth spurt possible for 24 year old man?

My friend was always tall, he was 5'10 foot at 16 and eventually got to 6'2 at age 19, everyone figured he was done growing but he has continued to defy logic and kept on growing. hes 24 now and hes grown to 6'7 and he has peach fuzz on the back of his neck, its like from the ages of 20-24 he has had a second puberty. has anyone seen such major changes in a man after the age of 20? the peach fuzz is light blond( his hair is light), its not a heavy coat but its noticeable up from the back of his collar. is it possible for him to grow even more? his parents arent tall. he played college basketball and right around that time is when he had his 2nd big growth spurt. does playing basketball in competitive atmosphere help his growth hormones kick into high gear, could he have taken a supplement to get taller? im interested in hearing what other people, if they have seen something like this and are knowledgeable about it. thanks in advance for helpful answers.
