How can you get over a heartbreak?

I have a boyfriend and he is a good boyfriend. I must admit though , he cheats from time to time. I always find out but seem to give him another chance. He has been doing this for a little over 10 months. Recently I have been talking to this new guy , but my boyfriend does not know. This new guy is amazing , everything I could ask for. But , I still have feelings for my boyfriend and my mother isn't too fond of this new guy. When I was with the new guy , I admit it got sexual. I thought it would make me feel better because if my boyfriend can cheat, why can't I? Well I ended up crying and realizing , this is something I can't do while having a boyfriend. So today , I told the new guy that I adore him and want to be with him but I just need some time. Also my boyfriend found out I was hang out with the new dude. I want to be with this new guy but at the same time I want my boyfriend. I need help because I am confused.!!
