Should I defy my dads rule of not dating at my age?

My dad gave me a stupid rule saying i cant date until i turn 16. theres this girl ive liked for 6 years now and when i was at the movies she had told me that she loved me too. I know im only 14 but i think i do too and i think that we should take our relationship further (no i don't mean having sex) i just really need to know what to do i love this girl.
