Why should Tracy Morgan apologize?

Are gay people really that sensitive? Ok stupid question lol but come on... Tracy Morgan is a comedian he is going to make fun of people. He is hilarious, and I laughed hard when I read that he said he would smack his kid if he ever talked gay. Why the hell should Tracy Morgan apologize for his comedy? I think if anything gays should apologize to straight people for defying the laws of nature.
